Keto Hot Chocolate & Hot Keto Apple Cider
When the temperature drops, there's nothing better than a warm, comforting drink. Here are two cozy keto winter drinks: rich, velvety hot chocolate and spiced apple cider with a touch of fall in every sip.
Both are low carb, sugar-free and gluten-free. (My keto eggnog from the same video is on the site too.)

Keto Hot Chocolate & Hot Keto Apple Cider
Ingredients
Keto hot chocolate (serves 1–2)
- 1 1/2 cups keto milk
- 1 tbsp black cocoa powder
- 1 scoop chocolate collagen
- 2 tbsp powdered sweetener (adjust to taste)
- 10–15 sugar-free chocolate chips (optional)
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Keto marshmallows or whipped cream, for topping
Hot keto apple cider (serves 2)
- 2 cups water
- 1–2 tsp apple extract
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 pinch ground clove
- 2–3 tbsp sweetener (or more, to taste)
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 cinnamon stick (optional)
Instructions
Hot chocolate
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, warm the keto milk until it starts to steam. Don't let it boil.
- Add the cocoa, chocolate collagen, sweetener, vanilla and chocolate chips. Whisk until the chips melt and it's smooth. Add a pinch of salt.
- Pour into mugs and top with keto marshmallows or whipped cream.
Apple cider
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the water, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. Bring to a simmer.
- Add the apple extract, sweetener and lemon juice. Adjust the sweetness and apple flavor to taste.
- Reduce to low and simmer 3–5 minutes to infuse the spices. Strain into mugs. Enjoy!
