Healthy Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup
Ingredients
Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons dried parsley
- 4 cups heavy cream
- 3 packets Bare Bones instant chicken bone broth powder
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 3–4 tablespoons salt
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
Instructions
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and sauté until soft and translucent.
- Stir in parsley and cook another 30 seconds.
- Add heavy cream and bring just to a gentle boil, stirring frequently.
- Reduce heat to medium-low. Stir in the bone broth powder, ketchup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Continue simmering, stirring often, until liquid reduces and mixture becomes very thick (20–30 minutes). You should end up with about 30-32 oz condensed soup.
- Remove from heat, cool, and transfer to an airtight container. Refrigerate at least 2 hours to thicken further. Should make enough for 3 casseroles. Enjoy!
